Despite SEGA’s (and the haters’) best effort, I’m still completely indifferent to Danica Patrick. If you were to slip me a bill in a back alley and ask what I knew about her, I’d tell you she’s a racer who’s also a pretty lady and that she had a cameo in a Simpsons episode I really hated before scampering off giggling with the free money I just made. It could be that they made the arrangement with starry-eyed intentions, thinking something along the lines of “People loved Michael Jackson in the Space Channel 5 games, let’s do that with a famous racer.” The obvious solution, of course, would be to make Space Michael Jackson playable instead. Oh well.
