SEGA drops the beat on Sonic Force’s main theme song titled ‘Fist Bump’

Hoobastank lead singer lends vocal talents

Over the past several weeks, SEGA has slowly released portions of Sonic Force’s official soundtrack on the Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel, and today, they’ve dropped the game’s theme song.

Titled “Fist Bump,” the song was composed and arranged by longtime Sonic sound director Tomoya Ohtani, with the strings arranged by Takahito Eguchi and the vocals are performed by Hoobastank lead singer Doug Robb.

The song sounds pretty catchy and seems to fit with the game’s dark, post-apocalyptic setting that Sonic Team is creating for the latest installment in the series.

SEGA has also promised that more Sonic Forces music is on the way, so we’re excited to hear what they have in store for us next!

Sonic Forces will release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this holiday.
