Sega Game Endings: Golden Axe

office furniture in Bulgariaoffice furniture in Bulgaria

[Editor’s note: Sega has developed a helluva lot of games during the last 20 or so years. Chances are, you haven’t been able to beat all of those games and may not have the time to go back and finish them off. So every Sunday, we’ll check out a […]

The future for Streets of Rage?

No this is not a new version of Streets of Rage 2, from Sega, but rather some cleverly written code by some random guy on Youtube called bigjohn8411.  Here is all he had to say on the matter, from the video info.

“a new way to play the classic, streets of rage 2. a very fun […]

Jackie Chan a Sega fan?

If anyone knows me, they will know that two of my greatest loves of all time are the almighty Jackie Chan (been a fan for some 18 years now) and the Dreamcast (which everyone loves really).
Well Siliconera has done a little mention of Jackie Chan’s latest screen venture, The Forbidden Kingdom, co-starring Jet Li, Yifei Liu… […]

Saturn homebrew still going strong?

Well I don’t know if we could call the Saturn homebrew market “strong” but there is definitely something going on out there.
Racketboy has recently interviewed one of the big players on the Saturn homebrew scene, Rockin-B, who is the organiser of C4, the annual Sega Saturn Coding Contest, amongst other things.
Anyway, the interview talks a […]

Dreamcast, ahead of it’s time? Trusted Reviews think so

In a time when Sega Nerds are used to reading about how bad the Dreamcast and other Sega products were from some quite foolish sites - we do tend to come across some more uplifting articles. Trusted Reviews has just done a lovely little piece on the Dreamcast, and why it was ahead of […]

Worst consoles ever? Or possibly the worst article ever?

{Note: Apologies but this article was lost during the transfer to b5. Fortunately the article itself had been saved, but any of the comments you filed have not. So apologies for that, we had some good replies originally}
It’s not unusual to see at least one piece of Sega hardware making a “Worst List” […]

CVG previews Samba De Amigo (Wii)

CVG has posted up a preview, from NGamer, for the upcoming Wii version of Samba De Amigo.  The preview conveys some mixed emotions.
On the one hand the Wiimote and Nunchuck controls are (apparently) perfectly fine, and the controls are tight enough for players to make some funky beats.
“Mechanically, Gearbox have done a sound job. The […]

REZ beta project leaked

[youtube XqVcQt8v118]
It has only been about 2 months or so since Rez HD made an impact on Xbox Live Arcade, with it’s highly unique and, quite frankly, insane stance on the rail shooter.  But any true Sega fan will know that the Dreamcast (and then slightly later the PS2) is where it all started.
But what many […]

Cryptic Allusion talks ‘Dreamcast’ with The Escapist

Ok this interview was put up a good week ago, but it has only recently come to my attention, and I feel that it should be (relatively) interesting to many Dreamcast fans, and homebrew enthusiasts.
Our good friends at Cryptic Allusion, (whom we have interviewed in the past), recently spoke to The Escapist about their involvement […]
