Face Off: Should SEGA make its own Smash Bros. style brawler?

[Editor’s note: In the Face Off, the gloves come off, and we battle it out over controversial or long-debated SEGA topics. A word of caution, things may get testy, and some feelings will probably be hurt along the way. Once it’s done, voice your opinion in the comments and tell us who you think won the debate!] Round 1: FIGHT Chris: …

Who are SEGA fans supporting in the Super Smash Bros. ballot?

As soon as Nintendo announced that fans would decide who would be what sounds like the final character in the Super Smash Bros. roster, social media went crazy with campaigns pushing for each and every obscure character from the annals of gaming to be added. While some ideas have been downright awful (I won’t even mention them for fear that …

An Open Letter to Nintendo Fans

Author’s note: After being challenged over Twitter regarding my use of the word “retards” to describe Nintendo fanboys on this week’s Nerdcast, I’ve had a slight change of heart. You see, I would never refer to any disabled person as “retarded,” or any other similarly inflammatory term. However, we’re not talking about mentally handicapped people here, folks. We’re talking about …
