The details are slim, but apparently there’s going to be a Puyo Puyo Tetris combination game released in 2014 for the PlayStation 3, Vita, 3DS and Wii U in Japan, says Ameblo.jp.
According to the rough translation, there will be several game modes, including a two-player mode where one player plays Puyo Puyo and the other Tetris and then at some point, the players switch games. It will also allow a player to play either game on its own, as well.

This sounds interesting! I should imagine it’s skipping Xbox due to the consoles unpopularity in Japan? I love both Tetris and Puyo Puyo, so I’ll definitely be picking this up for PS3 or 3DS if it comes to the west!
