Yakuza 6: The Song of Life coming West in 2018

Not only did SEGA announce that Yakuza Kiwami was coming our way this summer, but they also surprised us by confirming that Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will head our way in early 2018.

Yakuza 6 is the newest game in the Yakuza franchise and will release in Japan on Dec. 8.

“The game is coming to consoles only on PlayStation 4, and thanks to the new “Dragon Engine,” is the most advanced Yakuza title to date,” SEGA announced in its press release. “From the unparalleled realism of the new setting of Onomichi, a beautiful, sleepy port town in Hiroshima Prefecture, to the latest evolution of Kamurocho, the biggest red light district in Tokyo, Yakuza 6 is the ultimate iteration the game’s blend of gritty crime story, hyper-explosive combat, and all the vices and distractions those locales have to offer.”

This year’s PlayStation Experience has already been an exciting show for SEGA fans. What else could SEGA announce that’d get you hyped for next year?
