SEGA unveils Yakuza 6 and new Yakuza Kiwami PVs during Anniversary Event
SEGA of Japan held its Yakuza series 10th Anniversary event this Saturday (December 12th) at the UDX · UDX THEATER in Akihabara (or Akiba for short), Tokyo. The first title was released on December 8th, 2005 for the PS2 (as part of the celebration Yakuza 5 was released digitally in western territories). During this event, the Yakuza series main producer and former director, Toshihiro Nagoshi, unveiled 2 trailers: a new one for Yakuza Kiwami (a remake for the original 1st Yakuza title scheduled for on January 21st, 2016 for the PS4 & PS3), and the first footage for the upcoming new title on the series Yakuza 6 (PS4 only in Japan).

Additionally, Nagoshi and the rest of the SEGA crew unveiled the new Yakuza 10th Anniversary merch lineup, which includes a Kazuma Kyriu Figma by Max Factory and Good Smile Company (now presented in its final painted version), a Yakuza x ESP Guitar, Eyewear by Less than Human, and a clothing line by ALPHA.
