Alien: Isolation – The Collection will arrive for Mac & Linux

SEGA Europe, Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive announced they are bringing Alien: Isolation™ – The Collection port to Mac & Linux on September 29th.

[UPDATE Sept. 29]:  Feral Interactive has stated today they’ll delay this port due an “issue”,  a new date will be announced later. The statement reads as the following:

We’re sorry to bring you bad tidings, but Alien: Isolation – The Collection for Mac and Linux has been delayed due to an issue that affects both platforms, and will not be released today.

We are committed to releasing games only once they reach our high standards. A bit more time is needed to ensure that Alien: Isolation achieves this.

We will announce a new release date soon.

Thanks for your patience while we work to bring you the best experience possible.

Feral Interactive is responsible for bringing most SEGA PC game ports to Mac & Linux such as the Total War series, Sonic All Star Racing, and Company of Heroes.
