SEGA announces Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to PlayStation 4

With Phantasy Star Online 2 still “delayed” in the West for PC and PlayStation Vita, SEGA of Japan has announced the game will be ported to the PS4 sometime next year.

The game will be playable at next month’s Tokyo Game Show on the PS4, and SEGA also announced a new expansion called “Reborn: Episode 4” that will also be released next year.

PSO 2 was first released in Japan on PC in 2012 and the following year on Vita. SEGA of America has stated numerous times the game is still slated for release in North America and Europe, but there hasn’t been any meaningful progress that we’ve seen to that end.
