In the latest Sonic Dash update that added a Dr. Eggman boss battle, the next global challenge to unlock a new character was also announced.
Rouge the Bat will be the next unlockable character in a global challenge that is “all about the score so make sure you complete missions to increase your score multiplier and equip boosters to score even higher,” the update read. Don’t get too excited just yet because the challenge isn’t live but is promised that it soon will be.
How do you guys feel about Rouge joining the cast? Who do you want next?
Metal Sonic is the only character I’d actually care about at this point. They seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel with Rouge, Silver and Blaze.
I’d rather see them introduce new stages or give us some different music tracks to choose from, as the one singular tune has become pretty bland after all this time- Green Hill Zone theme, Emerald Coast Zone theme, or how about a Sega cross-over with Outrun’s Magical Sound Shower?

From a leak I think that the next character will be cream, so don’t get too excited yet.
I think that instead of a playable character, they should find a way to make metal sonic a boss when a race similar to the one that appears on sonic cd
