Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f sings her way onto PlayStation Vita
SEGA of America’s Aaron Webber published an article on the PlayStation Blog today announcing Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f will indeed make its way to the PlayStation Vita in early 2014.
Webber wrote, “Following the fantastic response to the PS3 release of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f, SEGA is proud to announce that we have now begun development to bring Project DIVA F to PS Vita in the West!” SEGA released Project DIVA F on both the PlayStation 3 and Vita in Japan, and many Vita owners were vocal of their desire for a handheld release.
According to another post on the SEGA Blog, the game will be a digital only release, like it was on the PlayStation 3.
“We’re excited to bring this global phenomenon and share it with fans in the West,” said John Cheng, President and COO of SEGA of America. “Now gamers will be able to experience and enjoy Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f anywhere, anytime, and on the go with the portable handheld version.”
This is certainly great news for us Vita owners. The next piece of news we want to know if SEGA includes the already released DLC with the Vita version. *Fingers crossed*

Listen, I’m the biggest Vocaloid fan you know. I’ve got a Figma of Megurine Luka (the pink-haired one) back home. And I’m absolutely delighted at the news. But whatever happened to that other SEGA game? That one that made a nod to Project DIVA F last year in Japan, hmm? Rhymes with Mantasy Far Fun Line Two?
Sega has announced that fan art from a competition that ended in August will be in this game including loading screens, item and costume designs, and backgrounds. Pretty cool idea. Now I just need Capcom to put my robot master idea into Mega Man 11….. Woman Man!!!
