Video Review: Alex Kidd in Miracle World (Part 2)
Welcome to part 2 of Alex Kidd in Miracle World!
Due to technical issues I was only able to salvage the last boss fight and the end of the game, so I apologize for that. But regardless of that I hope you enjoy my review!

Great work on this, Steven. Even though you lost a ton of footage, I think it was cool to see you defeat the end boss. lol, you completely kicked his ass too.
I’m sorry you didn’t care for the game. I think you would have saved yourself a lot of frustration (with the phantom enemies, the yellow “jitter” boxes, and controlling the pedicopter) if you had a manual to reference. I’ll admit that the game is tough and the controls are a little floaty compared to a game like Mario, but I always appreciated the level variety and none of the levels really feel the same to me. I don’t think that it is nearly as hard as some of its 8-bit contemporaries like Shinobi, Battletoads, or Ninja Gaiden.
Did you get the Moon Stone in the cave stage? It lets you read the minds of the King’s henchmen during the Jenken matches, and I can’t imagine trying to play through the game without it. I’m also curious as to whether you purchased the motorcycle at the shop and gave that a try. That was one of the coolest parts of the game to me, as a kid.
