Free launch day DLC for Total War: Rome II

Don’t you hate it when companies make you pay £40 or $60 (or however much in your native currency) for a brand new game and then, on day one, they release some DLC – asking you to pay an extra £5 (or whatever)?

But don’t you just love it when a company essentially ‘thanks you for buying their game by giving you free day-one DLC? Well the latter is what those sexy guys and girls at The Creative Assembly are doing with Total War: Rome II.

The SEGA-owned development studio announced (in the video above) that a ninth playable faction, Pontus, will be available to download, for free, on day one. And that’s not all, they also teased that there will be more free DLCs in the future.

This makes me have a happy face :0)
