This Week in SEGA Tweets – April 8-14

Welcome back, my fellow SEGA Nerds to another look back at this past week’s best tweets about or from SEGA. It was a bit light this week compared to last week, but I’m sure things will pick up again.

Alex Kidd in Snow White’s World

In a tweet simply stating “Summer 2013,” SEGA linked to a YouTube video of the same name. It was a trailer that looks eerily similar to the box art for Castle of Illusion, starring Mickey Mouse. While it’s not been officially confirmed and it’s likely it, perhaps it’s actually not Castle of Illusion and instead SEGA’s introducing a new Alex Kidd game in Snow White’s world!?!

I mean just look at the evil queen, and then the ominous rolling apple that rolls about. Yeah, the more I think of it, it’s definitely Alex Kidd in Snow White’s World.

Kicking it old school

What is a guy supposed to do when Xbox Live is down and you need some online gaming? Screw playing on your PlayStation 3, Wii U or PC! The Dreamcast still has your back.

That’s so cheesey

We love all the creative ways SEGA of America’s community team finds ways to give stuff away, and last week didn’t disappoint. However, I would have liked it better if they actually gave away real cheese. Mmmmm, cheese.

Kaz being Kaz

Fake Kaz is pretty much the best thing on Twitter these days, and he was in rare form this past week. I’m sure he made many a gamer’s hearts flutter with this tweet, only to troll them with the box art for one of SEGA’s greatest RPGs. Bwahahaa!

Phil the asshole

https://twitter.com/PHIL_FISH/status/322959563903102976

Phil Fish is an asshole, plain and simple. Last week, he turned into a feminist, and this week, he’s making false claims of SEGA’s new console and probably getting the hopes up of many a SEGA Nerd. >:(
