Condemned 2 players suffering on both platforms

Unfortunately I am not talking about “suffering” the frightening gameplay here. It seems that Sega’s highly anticipated horror title, Condemned 2 has been experiencing a few technical issues, for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Firstly reports had been coming in, from various forums and gaming sites, that the Xbox 360 version was erasing save files for the game randomly.  (Though Chris who reviewed the 360 version, has not experienced this).  But now it seems the PlayStation 3 version has its own problems.
Review: Condemned 2: Bloodshot

Similar to Graham’s schoolgirl-like excitement over Viking:
It was so damn scary, so frightening that I had trouble playing it in a darkened room. Oftentimes, I’d have to put down the controller and turn it off for a little while when things got too intense, but that’s what attracted me to the game and kept me coming back for more.
No game since then has recreated that sense of panic, fear and excitement until now. I don’t know how they did it, but the guys at Monolith Productions have once again created a game that delivers intense action, a fun combat system and more violence than anything you’ll ever see in any

Sega of Europe has announced that Condemned 2: Bloodshot assets are now available on Xbox Live’s Marketplace. You can find two theme packs, called “Fight Club Theme” and “Characters Theme,” and five picture packs 150 and 120 Microsoft Points, respectively.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve had my Condemned: Criminal Origins avatar and theme on my 360 ever since my first horrific experience, so this is great news for me, at the very least!

Ahh, it’s a great day to be a Condemned fan. Not only has Sega just released this new launch trailer, but it has also sent us word that Condemned 2: Bloodshot has shipped to retailers. Yeah, the game won’t be available until March 18, but that means there’s surely going to a few stores selling the game before the official street date.
We should be getting our copy in the mail in a few days and will have a full review up to coincide with the game’s official release date.
Buy Condemned 2 from Circuit City get the first game free

Haven’t played Condemned before but are interested in the sequel? No problem! If you purchase the sequel from Circuit City, they will throw in Condemned: Criminal Origins for free. Yeah, I didn’t know people still shopped at Circuit City, but apparently they do. If you haven’t picked up the first one yet, then this is a pretty good deal. For those of you who have, GameStop is giving away a limited-edition multiplayer guide. It’s nice for those swag-obsessed nerds.
Make sure to pick up Condemned 2: Bloodshot when it hits North America on the 11th and in Europe on the 14th. Yes, the game is just around the corner.

Oi! Watch out for that door

Sega and Monolith have promised us that Condemned 2: Bloodshot is going to be much more violent than its predecessor. We’ve seen enough gameplay footage to believe them, but we just absolutely love the game’s new finishing moves.
Instead of selecting a lame ol’ finishing move with the d-pad like in Condemned: Criminal Origins, you’ll now have the opportunity to grab your dazed opponent and drag him to a multitude of spots throughout the level to conduct even more dastardly deeds. No, I don’t mean those kinds of deeds.
Gasp! Condemned 2 gets a commercial

So here I am watching the latest episode of TNA wrestling when the show went to commercial, and I was shocked to see this commercial for Condemned 2: Bloodshot. I’m not shitting you, Sega’s actually fronting the money to market a video game it’s publishing!
Admittedly, this is a pretty cool commercial, and we see more of that strange black tar that’s surely playing a huge role in the sequel’s storyline. I can’t wait until Sega decides to ship me a copy out.
Condemned 2 Achievement list released
Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris, Microsoft Xbox 360. Tagged with Condemned.

Sega has released the full Achievement list that will be found when you daringly pop in Condemned 2: Bloodshot later this month. The single-player mode accounts for 535 points, while there are 435 Gamer Points to be earned in multiplayer.
Thankfully, there are no crazy Achievements, like the one found in The Club, but the big points will be earned by killing 1,000 people in multiplayer, which will net you a cool 50 points, and completing the game in hard mode will also add 50 points to your Gamer Score.
To see the entire list of Achievements, go here.
Ethan Thomas has a manly voice

It’s unfortunate that Greg Gunberg from Heroes fame isn’t reprising his role as Ethan Thomas. But after watching this newly released Condemned 2 voice over trailer, I think it’s safe to say veteran voice actor Andre Sogliuzzo does a pretty good job.
Actually, Sogliuzzo has worked on several Sega titles like Yakuza and Armored Core 4 and has also been apart of other great games like Pyschonauts, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Freedom Fighters.
The video also reveals a bit more about the game’s storyline, and it appears that Ethan may be double-crossed at some point early on and trapped in some sort of pyscho carnival. Ya know, all run-of-the-mill stuff in the Condemned universe.
Condemned 2 demo spotted on XBL Marketplace
Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris, Microsoft Xbox 360. Tagged with Condemned.

Thanks to Microsoft, we now know what to expect in Sega’s upcoming Condemned 2: Bloodshot demo that will hopefully soon be available for download on its website. Unfortunately, there’s not a date listed for when we should expect the demo to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace, but we expect to see it really soon considering the game’s release is only weeks away.
You begin outside the lowest, seediest dive in town and your situation goes downhill from there, starting with a rapidly escalating fight with some back alley-thugs that show you the ropes of the combat system.
Things get strange when you take a brick in the face and the city walls start oozing night-black tar—that’s when the real horrors come out to play. A thrilling story of suspense and horror await in the full game, as you delve into the black-and-blue world of Ethan Thomas one year after his traumatic fall from grace as a serial crimes investigator for the FBI.
A quick investigative look on the XBL Marketplace demo page shows that only Condemned: Criminal Origins is available to download. But playing through the first game in the series may not be a bad idea, ya know, to get ourselves ready for the psychological abuse.
