First gameplay footage of Let’s Tap
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, News, Nintendo Wii, Video. Tagged with Gameplay, Let's Tap, Prope, Trailer.
Earlier we reported on Prope’s new title, Let’s Tap. The first couple of screens wesaw were pretty blurred and it was hard to tell just what was going on. Then we very quickly got our hands on some much better screenshots of the game, and it became pretty clear that it would be a set of mini-games.Â
But we still didn’t have confirmation on how the game was to be played or why it is called “Let’s Tap.“Â Now, with this video, some of our questions have been answered.
Sega Toys jump on the music game craze with LIVEDREAM
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, News, Video. Tagged with Gadgets, Sega Toys.
Ok so this is not game, but I’d say that this little gizmo has been influenced by the success of Rockband and Guitar Hero.
LIVEDREAM is a pretty cool miniture band set, which plays real songs. But the cool twist is that users can remove or place the different instruments on the stage, and the music will keep playing - but the sound of the specific instrument will either stop or start playing, which is pretty cool.
LIVEDREAM comes in two forms, “Rockband” and “Jazzband” - each band plays 30 real life tunes, and I have to say, there are some real classics listed there.
For the full track listing, check after the break.
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 2 trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Japan, News, Nintendo DS, Video. Tagged with Bloody Annoying, Shiren the Wanderer.
I can just about understand how some people like the concept of Shiren games, and other “roguelike” titles, but I think for many gamers they are just plain frustrating. Chris kindly reviewed the first Shiren DS for us a while ago, receiving mixed opinions in the comments section.Â
I spent a good couple of  hours playing the first DS game, only to be randomly turned into a rice cake and then beaten to death - while I couldn’t run away. It just plain pissed me off, and henceforth the game has been used to correct a wobbly table… in hell.
Anyway, if you do enjoy roguelike games, then rejoice and watch the above trailer.

MADWORLD TGS teaser

Next up with the TGS 08 teasers is MADWORLD. We have seen a fair amount of video footage of the game, but it’s always nice to see such gratuitous violence on Nintendo’s ‘kiddie box’ (hmm sounds illegal).
It’s good to see that the game is shaping up well, and despite being only three colours, it is a very good looking game.

Bayonetta gameplay teaser
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Japan, Microsoft Xbox 360, News, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with Bayonetta, Gameplay, Platinum Games, Teaser.
Just to give everyone a lovely appetiser of things to come at this years TGS, Sega has sent out a DVD, in the latest Famitsu magazine, with a few teasers for their upcoming games.
Bayonetta is up first, and this is the first in-game footage I think we have seen so far, so it is pretty exciting. Ok, not a lot happens in this teaser, but the games visuals are looking pretty decent, and I’m definitely interested to see more.
I’d also like to know if Bayonetta was a model before she decided to go off killing angels, because surely no normal action girl walks with a wiggle like that!

New Bleach trailer released
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Japan, News, Nintendo Wii, Video. Tagged with Bleach, Trailer.
Sega has released a new Japanese trailer for the upcoming game, Bleach: Versus Crusade, on the Wii with plenty of in-game footage, showing s what to expect from the game. Versus Crusade looks to be quite similar to Shattered Blade (the first Bleach game on the Wii), but actually looks like it has been improved.Â
For one thing the arenas look much more imaginative, with different layouts and objects (like the small vans) to keep things interesting - Shattered Blade’s arenas were open ground and quite bland really.
Also, as the advert states, Bleach: Versus Crusade will feature online Wi-Fi battles, which is nice.
Fed up with lacklustre Sonic games? Make your own with LittleBigPlanet

I actually got to play an early version of LBP at TGS last year, and while I thought it was enjoyable, (and if I had a PS3 I would certainly get it), I didn’t quite understand why people were selling their own grandmothers to play it.
Well, now I think I’m a little bit closer to knowing why, after seeing what someone managed to create with Beta version of the game.
Check after the break for more information and the “LittleBigPlanet Green Hill Zone act 2.”
Valkyria Chronicles gameplay trailer

What with hosting a special Valkyria Chronicles press event a few days ago (unfortunately we couldn’t make it), Sega America has also released a new gameplay video, which helps to detail some of the actions and in-game movements from the PS3 title.
Anybody who has read our in-depth hands on, the other day, may want to take a look at this video - as it should definitely help to visualise some of the game’s details which we covered.

Sexy Samba trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, News, Nintendo Wii, Video. Tagged with Gearbox, Samba De Amigo, Trailers.
Yep it’s another Samba De Amigo trailer, ready for the imminent release of the game (well it’s out in Europe this Friday). But this new trailer is a little different to the others we have seen over the past few months. Yes it still shows the game screen and people waving their arms around, holding Wiimotes, like possessed fiends.Â
However the people featured in this trailer are not small children, or old men. Nor is there a monkey (boo! We want more monkeys!), but there are two skantily-clad ladies, that would even make Princess Leia blush, with their sparkling bikinis and feathery head-dresses.

New Sonic Chronicles behind the scenes trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, News, Nintendo DS, North America, Video. Tagged with Bioware, Sonic Chronicles, Trailer.
Sega America has recently released a new promotional trailer for Sonic Chronicles, entitled “Making It Happen.”
This behind the scenes mini-documentary shows more of just how Bioware went about designing and making the game. From laying out the artwork designs, to turning 2D drawings of Sonic and his friends into 3D models for the DS, with explanations from the Bioware team.
You might even recognize one of the Bioware team, Miles Holmes (Lead Designer), whom we interviewed a few months ago.
