Flying Battery Zone revealed; Sonic Mania delayed

The Sonic SXSW Panel officially revealed brand new footage of Flying Battery Zone from Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

With the reveal of this footage, Takashi Iizuka, head of Sonic Team, has stated that Sonic Mania has been delayed until the Summer of 2017. The decision came internally at SEGA, with Iizuka-san saying that “it was in best interest for the company to move the date to the summer.”

Sonic Mania will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the Summer of 2017 .
