The idea is great, but it needs to be on all the major gaming platforms out there (PC, home consoles, handhelds, VR, and anything else I’ve missed)–basically any system that generally uses traditional controllers–or else it’s largely pointless imo.
Mobile phones and tablets are probably the worst suited place for all these classic games because they primarily use touchscreens, and I doubt very many people actually use gamepads with their smart devices.
So, it’s a great idea, but I think its true potential goes far beyond current smart devices.
I agree, I don’t like to play on mobile.
I mean, they do already have quite a few of those games already on Steam, so…
yea if this service ever makes it past the titles already available on steam and maybe they can get rid of the shitty crazy taxi port already on steam
How do you launch a service that highlights the company’s catalog and only include Genesis games?
Should have been one for each platform. I’m only interested in non-Genesis games at this point, since most of them have been dumped on dozens of platforms now.
Just me or is the emulation poor? Seems very framey, not a good first impression.
