SEGA Nerdcast: Episode 22 (with SuckerFree Games)

All the guys are together again this week, as Graham returns from his Paris vacay to regale us with stories of drunken revelry and an unexpected bromance gone awry.

In this week’s show, we go over the week’s SEGA news and focus on GO DANCE, Puyo Puyo Tetris and SEGA’s Tokyo Game Show lineup. We also have a great interview with the developers from SuckerFree Games, who are developing Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus for the OUYA.

  1. Question of the week answer:

I’ve got tons of games on separate platforms: Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 on both DC and XBLA; Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles on Genesis and XBLA, Golden Axe 1&2 on Genesis, iOS and XBLA; Alex Kidd in Miracle World on both Wii and XBLA; Gunstar Heroes on Genesis, iOS and Wii; Streets of Rage 1-3 on Genesis, XBLA and iOS (and SoR 1 on the Sega CD compilation); Jet Set Radio on DC and XBLA, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing on Wii and iOS, Sega Bass Fishing on DC and XBLA…

I’ve also got Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection, which doubles-down on a ton of games, too.

Anyway… so that’s a good place to start. It should go without saying that Sega has received quite a lot of my cash over the years.

  2. Great to hear you guys talking 3do games, I was a big 3do fan in the day and I have loads of games. Top ones for me are too numerous to mention but from what I can remember my favorites were:

    1. Need for speed (different to any others you’ve tried)
    2. Zhadnost – Game show/mini-games – epic multi-player fun
    3. Twisted – similar to Zhadnost
    4. Pataank – unusual, but very addictive
    5. Any of the T&E soft golf games, Wiked 18 being my favorite.

So many great games on there. Love it!
