Yu Suzuki discusses Shenmue’s music in the latest Kickstarter update

While Yu Suzuki and his team are hard at work on Shenmue III, the team released a brand new Kickstarter update to tease the fans some more. In the latest update, Suzuki-san discusses the importance of music in Shenmue and video games in general. Additionally, he talks his own background in music, including his interests in Van Halen and Deep Purple!

  1. While on the subject of audio design. How can someone so mindful of
    music be so clueless towards vocals. Shenmue has some of the worst
    acting English or Japanese. The cast members have accredited their
    acting to horrible sound direction.

    I would love a response from Team Yu assuring us that we will have quality VA this time.
