Here’s a new trailer for Yakuza: Kiwami x Yakuza 10th Anniversary

Last month, SEGA revealed a new trailer for Yakuza: Kiwami behind closed doors at the Tokyo Game Show. Today, SEGA has finally decided to show the trailer to the public, which you can check out above.

The trailer features commentary from Yakuza Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi, who promises to continue taking on new challenges and evolving the series.

Yakuza: Kiwami will release in Japan on January 21 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

  1. So the 10th anniversary remake/reboot is on PS3/PS4.

    Then we have Yakuza 6 exclusively on PS4.

    Someone at Sega really needs to explain to me the rationale for the reboot being on PS3 where as the sequel is on PS4?

    The way I see it Yakuza 6 should have been on the PS3 & PS4 so that all those who have been playing the franchise can continue to play it. Making the remake PS4 exclusive would allow the developers to really introduce Yakuza to a new audience.

    I don’t get it….
