Along with the trailer (which you can check out right above this sentence!), a recent article from Famitsu has revealed new information regarding the recently announced Sonic Runners mobile game:
- Runners will be a 2D side-scroller
- Each stage will last around 2 minutes
- A single stage will have various routes you could take
- The game will have familiar game mechanics that Sonic fans have come to know and love
- Knuckles and Tails will be playable characters
- SEGA plans to release Sonic Runners near the end of February
- The freemium game will be available for both iOS and Android devices

This video didn’t give me any idea of what Sonic Runners is going to be like….I’ll still download it though even though the “New” Sega is lame
My guess is it will be like Sonic Dash, except more of a side-scroller

I believe there were also details on how Sonic (and friends) run automatically and you just need to time your jumps, and how it can be played with a single hand.
