Your weekly SEGA Deals update is here. Behold the dollars and cents saved!
We’re kicking off SEGA Nerds Horror Fest, or October Fest, or whatever it’s called (I kinda like naming it after the beer, myself). Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Didn’t Horror Fest already get kicked off in the comment section of the Sonic Adventure review?” Oh, how right you are! But, there are still some spoooooky deals on some horrible games (Colonial Marines) horror-themed games this month, so let’s check ’em out!

Let’s start with Green Man Gaming, where you can use the code OCTOBE-R25OFF-GMGXXX to get 25% off your purchase, including pre-orders of Alien: Isolation. Definitely the way to go for PC gamers intending to get their survival horror on later this month!
PS Plus gamers can grab PS One Classic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PSN for a small discount this week. Sure, the Saturn version was superior, but for those without an import-ready Saturn, south of five bucks is still a steal.
On the subject of SEGA Saturn games, Saturn import classic Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara can be found in two different places this week. You can pick it for free on PSN starting October 7th if you have a PS Plus account, and Gamers Gate has it on sale for just $7.50 this weekend for PC gamers.
Gamers Gate also has the entire Legacy of Kain series on deep discount this weekend, including former Dreamcast title Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
Atlus title Abyss Odyssey is one of this week’s Deals with Gold on Xbox Live. Gold members looking for something a little bit on the bizarre side can grab it for $10.

There they are! If you didn’t save any money this week, well, more money for mellowcreme pumpkins, I suppose!

How is the 3DS version of Sonic Generations? It’s so cheap, I may pick it up anyway, but does it fare well against the console versions?
Also, I’m sick and tired of the PS3 always getting awesome free games. It’s by far the best console as far as PS Plus goes. With the PS4, we get some shitty, new indie game every week or so. The Vita games aren’t so bad, but I would really like to see some of the great PS3 digital games start making their way over to the PS4, damn it!
Man, the $6 shipping really kills the Sonic Generations deal. It’s actually cheaper to buy it on the PS3 at $15.78 and 360 at $15.66 because it has Amazon Prime shipping and the 3DS version doesn’t.
