Sonic Forces receives E10+ rating

Coming from the official page of Sonic Forces, it appears that the ESRB has given Sonic Forces the E10+ rating for the latest 3D adventure. This will be the seventh time a mainstream Sonic game has gotten this rating. The only reason for this rating was because the game is to have “Fantasy Violence”. Which would make sense because Sonic was getting beat up by Infinite in the previous trailer.

This rating will also justify the “darker tone” of the story, as Shun Nakamura, producer and story writer on Sonic Forces, says that they will be using the Japanese story rather than Colors and Generations writer Ken Pontac and Warren Graff. Instead, they will be used to localize the script for the western audiences. Overall, Sonic Forces wants itself to be taken seriously.

        1. sonic needs to take itself seriously again because having no plot is boring, and sa2’s plot was tense and the stakes were high there with eggman pointing their gun at amy

    1. i dont think it will. I think it’ll be like Unleashed, where it was nice and warm sometimes, and darker through other times.
i think this because in the Infinite trailer, Sonic said to Infinite “i dont know you, not even your name!” in the way he talks as he did in generations and colours, so there might bee SOME fun moments

  1. Super Mario Odyssey is NOT the first E10+ Mario Game, it’s the 3rd. The other 2 were Mario Strikers Charged and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Thought this page was about SMO, I was meant to put this on a Disqus Page talking bout that.
