This year’s PlayStation Experience was filled with tons of surprises, especially for Yakuza fans. In addition to the upcoming Yakuza 0 release, fans can also expect to see Yakuza Kiwami head to the west this summer. Yakuza Kiwami is a complete remake of the first Yakuza game, and it features upgraded visuals, faster loading times, and additional content.
Some believed that Yakuza Kiwami would receive the English translation from the first release of the game, although that does not appear to be the case. According to ATLUS producer Sam Mullen, Yakuza Kiwami (Yakuza Remake) will be translated entirely from scratch, ensuration accuracy in localization.
