In a recent interview with Famitsu magazine, Toshihiro Nagoshi told the interviewer that Yakuza 6 will be the end of Kazuma Kiryu’s story. Here’s what Nagoshi told Famitsu, courtesy of Yakuza fan Chelsea.
“‘The final chapter in the legend of Kazuma Kiryu’ is a huge theme within (Yakuza 6)”, Nagoshi told the interviewer. “This was another big influence on my decision to make this game a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Since this is a large juncture in the story of Kazuma Kiryu, I wanted it to have more beautiful graphics and the ultimate quality to set the stage for it.”
Yakuza 6 is scheduled to be released on December 6th in Japan. There is no word yet on a western release. What do you think the future of the Yakuza series entails? Discuss in the comments below!
