CEO of Nintendo Satoru Iwata Passes Away at 55

Today, CEO of Nintendo Satoru Iwata passed away.

After suffering complications, presumably from a bile duct growth that had been plaguing him, he mysteriously missed E3.
Iwata had been struggling with his health in recent years with him having to miss frequent events not including this years
expo.

Nintendo released an official statement that confirmed that he had passed away “due to a bile duct growth”. When more
information is forthcoming this post will be updated.
