The Shenmue news keeps coming and it only gets better from here. According to the Guinness World Record’s official website, Shenmue III has become the fastest video game to raise $1 million in pledges via crowdfunding.
The highly anticipated titled annihilated the previous record, taking just 1 hour 42 minutes to reach its milestone. The previous record was set by Torment, Tides of Numenera in 2013, reaching that milestone at 6 hours 5 minutes. This just shows the power and dedication of the Shenmue fanbase. Let’s keep it up, guys!
