SEGA will release 47 digital game titles by March 2016

In addition to the recent financial report released by SEGA, the company has also revealed its plans to release 47 digital games by March of next year. SEGA has stated that it plans to shift management resources from the amusement parks and packaged games  to digital software for PC, mobile, and console platforms, calling it a “center of growth”.

With franchises such as Phantasy Star Online, Monster Gear, and Chain Chronicle doing considerably well, it is logical to focus their resources on that area. What do you think of SEGA’s plans to release an impressive 47 games by the end of the next fiscal year? Let us know in the comments below!

        1. I’m sure as part of their restructuring plan, they would want to reach a broader audience. Perhaps 40 of them will just be released in Japan, and the rest globally. We shall see

      2. I should have been more specific – how will they be released? Will they be on disc for console? or as downloads across all platforms (Well, not all but hopefully PC)? Will it be on GOG, or Steam, or will SEGA make their own competitor?
