The Cursed Crusade is an Atlus game from a few years ago.
Graham- is your Flashback Genesis maybe an NTSC model and you’re trying to play on a PAL TV? Is there perhaps a switch? That may at least explain the slowness of the sound…. Maybe.
You’ve actually touched on a sore nerve of mine. There’s no quality control with these Genesis throwback systems that get cranked out every couple of years, and each one poisons the well and undoubtedly makes the real thing look worse to those who weren’t there the first time around. It might be a more egregious offense than the crapshoot that’s been happening with Sonic for… a length of time that’ll inevitably vary with who you ask.
I’m not sure how much control SEGA can legally have when it licenses out its intellectual properties to companies. I suppose they could have a provision in the agreement that gave them final say over the product, but if I were a company paying up-front licensing costs to SEGA, there’s no way I’d agree to that.
