Streets of Rage is November’s Game of the Month!

Wow, October came and went faster than SEGA dropping support for the Dreamcast! While we spent quite a bit of time playing our favorite retro SEGA horror titles during SEGA Horror Fest, we also made sure to devote some time to Bayonetta, which was our Game of the Month in October.

Our buddy, The Requiem, had quite an interesting exclusive interview with Bayonetta, which you really must read.

This month, we’re going old school with the iconic SEGA beat ’em up series Streets of Rage!

Why Streets of Rage?

Bah, the better question is “Why not Streets of Rage, amirite?” Seriously, though, Streets of Rage is one of our favorite SEGA series, and we’ve been wanting to feature it for a long time now. We figured we’d get all our violence out of the way this month before December rolls around, and we have to be all sweet and nice to each other.

What’s better is we’re not just limiting it to the first Streets of Rage, but all three games in the series!

How it works!

Oh, you’re a new member to the Game of the Month Club, you say? Well, here’s how it works:

It’s a month-long discussion, so we encourage you to participate in the forum thread as often as possible as you experience the game. As usual, we have several articles specific to our Game of the Month.

How you can play!

Like other retro games that we’ve featured in the past, the Streets of Rage series is super easy to enjoy today. Here are your options:

SEGA Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage series

Streets of Rage

Streets of Rage 2

Streets of Rage 3

Also, remember to visit the Streets of Rage official forum thread! See ya in the streets, punk!
