So Yakuza 5 isn’t going to be released in North America and Europe. Yes, it sucks, but that’s the cold, hard reality of being a fan of SEGA. They hate you, and they don’t mind passively aggressively reminding you from time to time.
However, thanks to the tireless efforts by Yimbocarimbo, you can now import the game and use his English guide and walkthrough to enjoy the game SEGA doesn’t want you to have. The guide is broken down into three main sections: Playing the Game, Game Menus and Other Gameplay Sections, the latter of which includes the main walkthrough as well as many other useful translations.
Sure, it’s not as easy as if SEGA just translated the damn thing, but this guide is the next best thing we have until some aspiring fans translates it themselves.
Check out his guide and walkthrough here.

Thank you for the extremely helpful link to the guide!
I shall study this guide day and night until my copy arrives.
thanks
will check it out.
IT’S GONE!
yep, it’s gone 🙁
What do we do? I just asked my cousin to import the game for me.
well either hope SEGA localises the game, or learn some Japanese
Would somebody be so kind to upload the english guide again please, i was just in the final chapter 🙁
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the site will come back online.
This Yakuza 5 wiki looks to be the next best thing until Yimbocarimbo’s site comes back online: http://kouryakutsushin.com/ryu5-wiki. You’ll need to run it through Google Translate, though.
Thanks for the alternatieve, it is appreciated

But did you used to work at Mean Machines back in the 90s? , your name looks familiar ..
Nope, that’s not me. Chris Powell is a pretty common name, though, so I wouldn’t doubt there was someone there with my name.
Youd think theyd atLEAST release 1&2 HD in USA to see how well the market would do.
