Sonic Stadium community brings awesome music adventure to your ears

There’s one thing we here at SEGA Nerds love about the SEGA community: the ability to bring so many fans together to create something beautiful, be it amazing artwork, the Summer of Sonic events, or a magnificent SEGA-themed album musical experience.

The Sonic Stadium (TSS) community has collaborated to create an epic 8-hour album (yes, EIGHT): The Sonic Stadium Music Adventure 2012. And best of all, it’s free!

Here’s a blurb from the site:

“The long-awaited sequel to last year’s album, The Sonic Stadium Music Adventure 2012 is a community project put together by the creative and extremely talented folk of the SSMB. Showcasing the combined effort of over 40 different artists, this 8 hour behemoth of a compilation provides a wide variety of differing sounds from all seven corners of the world! With remixes paying tribute to some of the most renowned and obscure tunes in SEGA history, as well as a number of original compositions, this album is one for the AGES!”

The album is available to download as a zip file (1.1 GB) and a torrent. Or you can stream directly from the dedicated site.

Well, what are you waiting for? Go get some SEGA-themed musical treats for your ears.

I've been a SEGA fan pretty much all my gaming life - though I am also SEGA Nerds' resident Microsoft fanboy (well, every site needs one) and since SEGA went third party, I guess it's now ok to admit that I like Nintendo and Sony too :0) I'm also the Content Manager of the big data company, Digital Contact Ltd, in the UK: http://digitalcontact.co.uk/company/team/
