Cor, where to begin, where to begin.  Well no doubt most of you will have bought, completed and written a guide for this game already.  But for those still on the fence about Sonic Unleashed this is for you.

Whilst browsing Youtube (at 2:30am), I randomly stumbled upon two three new Sonic Unleashed trailers that Sega America and Sega Europe have just uploaded.

The first (above) is a level from the Wii version of the game, Holoska.  Now this is actually the first Unleashed trailer that has made me really sit up and pay attention.  From the looks of this lovely ice level Sonic Unleashed might actually be more appealing (to me) than I first thought.

The lucky guys at TeamXbox have been given an exclusive look at the newly revealed level from Sonic Unleashed, “Adabat.” Yep, weird name for a level anything really, but the level does look pretty damn cool.

The Sonic level looks pretty damn amazing and the Werehog level also looks like it is going to be fun. But (I’m never going to shut up about this) it’s the same stupid robots in the Sonic level again - it still angers me seeing how rubbish they all look.

Anyway, the level is looking good, with some very impressive set pieces. Definitely looking forward to playing this now.

TGS 08: Warning - Werehog spotted prowling game show

Just a fun post really, the boys at Kotaku have posted up a video of Sonic’s Werehog incarnation, stalking around the Japanese gaming show.

To be honest, I had completely forgotten about the Werehog being in Sonic Unleashed.  With all the latest videos, we have only seen the normal hedgehog Sonic action.  Always nice to be reminded that the game could have a (potential) downside to it…

Let’s hope the Werehog is worth advertising.

Sonic Unleashed featured in this months ONM

ONM Sonic UnleashedThis months Official Nintendo Magazine (UK) will feature exclusive screens and content on the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed.

We may have seen plenty of screens and videos for Sonic Unleashed now, but what we haven’t seen is much of the Wii game.

Sega has been a tad more secretive about the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, only showing off the Xbox 360 version at events over the last few months.  But that’s most likely because the 360 version looks much better; to quote Dwight Schrute (from the US Office):

“First rule in road-side beet sales, put the most attractive beets on top”

So for anyone who is thinking of buying the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, over the Xbox 360 and PS3 game, will want to take a good look at ONM this month.

Also featured in the magazine are Sonic Chronicles and Samba De Amigo.  So it should be quite a good read, Sega-wise.

New Sonic Unleashed gameplay trailer

4:53pm 11 Sep '08

Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Microsoft Xbox 360, News, Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with , , , .

IGN has just put up a new trailer for Sonic Unleashed.  The video sports gameplay from the Xbox 360 version of the game, showing off both Hedgehog Sonic and Werehog Sonic in action.

The game looks to be shaping up rather well, especially the main Sonic sections, so let’s hope that Sega doesn’t screw the pooch on this one (please!).

We are still yet to see any moving footage from the Wii and PS2 versions of the game, and technically PS3 - though PS3 and Xbox 360 games (in these situations) usually look and play the same.  So what you see above will likely be what PS3 owners will get too.
