New Resonance of Fate trailer

Here it is, a new trailer for the upcoming RPG, Resonance of Fate. I think alot of turn based loyalist are going to be turned off by the more action packed approach of this title, but I have to say, its looking rather nice.
Now that we have seen more gameplay, can we get excited or should we complain that it isn’t made by Sonic Team?

Sega Europe has just released a new and (apparently) final trailer for the Wii FPS, The Conduit. You should hopefully know enough about the game to have decided if you are interested.
So sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
The Conduit is out in Europe July 10th and is out in the US now.

New Valkyria Chronicles DLC trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Japan, News, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with DLC, Download Content, Downloads, Edy's Challenge, Gameplay, PSN, Trailer, Valkyria Chronicles.
Sega has recently released a trailer of the latest download content for Valkyria Chronicles. As the DLC is currently only scheduled for a Japan release the trailer is (unfortunately) all in Japanese - so I have no idea what’s going on. But the lady in the advert sounds very excited and that makes me excited, so I hope you all are too!
What we do know is that this update will consist of six challenges made to the player by Edy’s squad. The challenges will vary, from saving stranded allies to wiping out invading foes. The DLC is due for release on the Japanese PSN June 26th for 300Yen.

Sonic Unleashed mobile gameplay

We showed you some of the new screens for the upcoming mobile phone version of Sonic Unleashed and some of you said you wanted to see the game in motion and we have delivered.
Well actually we haven’t, IGN are the lucky sods who managed to get gameplay footage of the game and someone else uploaded the video to Youtube. But like a $5 hooker, we’re here to spread it around ;o)
Sonic looks a bit weird to me, but other than that it actually looks like it could be a half decent game! So what do you guys think of the game?
Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics E3 trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, News, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii. Tagged with Mario & Sonic, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Trailer, Vancouver 2010.
The original trailer for the new Mario & Sonic title really didn’t give us much of the game, just a teaser. This trailer doens’t actually show any gameplay, but at least gives a better idea of what to expect in the game and is far more exciting.
You see a variety of the characters performing in different events such as; snowboarding, bobsleighing, ice skating, skiing, slalom and ski-jump.
Most of the characters look like they are the same as from the original Mario & Sonic, but Sega has said that there will be some new characters that are going to be “revealed later.” But just watch the trailer and you will see a few of the new ones right there. Be interesting to see how many more they’ll add.
Can’t wait to play as Metal Sonic ;o)

Planet 51 E3 trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Microsoft Xbox 360, Multi-platform, News, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with Astronaut, CGI, Gameplay, Movie Tie-In, Planet 51, Trailer.
Remember that announcement a while ago about Planet 51? Well now we actually get to see what the deal with the game is. We already knew that the game was to be based on the upcoming CGI movie of the same name, which should sound alarm bells in most people - yet another movie tie-in game (in general - not just from Sega).
But will this actually be a decent conversion from the big screen? To be honest it is too hard to tell right now, but the trailer does give me some high hopes. It certainly doesn’t look terrible and it will be aimed at kids, like the movie is, so I’m not expecting anything too complex.
In case you don’t know. You take control of the “bumbling” human astronaut, Chuck, and his alien friend Lem and have to help them find their way back to Chuck’s spaceship, while exploring the world of Planet 51. The game is due out on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS this November.
Aliens vs Predator - Predator trailer

Sega has released a new trailer for Aliens vs Predator, showcasing what it’s like to look through the eyes of the Predator. The video shows in-game footage, so this is what it should actually look like when you play. Awesome.
If he wasn’t “one ugly motherf*&%er” this would be one of the sexiest looking games around (Hopefully Predator fans wil get that) ;o)

Alpha Protocol CGI trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Microsoft Xbox 360, Multi-platform, News, PC, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with Alpha Protocol, CGI, Espionage, Obsidian, Spies, Trailer.
One thing Obsidian has always mentioned when talking about Alpha Protocol is how players are free to choose how to tackle different missions and situations, which this new trailer tries to convey.
Even though it doesn’t show any gameplay, I think the message is pretty clear and it makes for quite an interesting trailer. Still we have to see just how “free” we are with choices when the game finally hits this October.

Sega has just released the latest trailer for Platinum Games witchy title, Bayonetta, and all I can say is “Wow.” Quite frankly this is one of the best trailers for a game I have seen in ages.
The exciting video shows off a lot of gameplay and gives us more insight into the game’s story. Well check it out for yourselves!

Sega announces Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Microsoft Xbox 360, Multi-platform, News, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PC, Sonic, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with Announcement, racing, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Trailer.
Sega has just announced a new title featuring a vast number of Sega favourites. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is a new racing title (the name doesn’t give it away at all), that looks like it might even be able to compete with the mighty Mario Kart.
Players will be able to choose from a variety of Sonic and general Sega characters; such as AiAi, Amigo, Tails and (of course) Sonic the Hedgehog. Each character has their own unique vehicles, from cars to bikes and planes and even a banana.
Each track, ranging from rainforests to cities, will feature various power-ups and weapons to collect and use against each other, plus each character has their own unique special moves.
The game is set to release sometime in 2010 on pretty much every platform available (except for PSP). More information and screens after the break.
