Well, most of the line-up we have seen at this year’s E3, besides the new Creative Assembly game. It seems that it will be labeled a ‘world exclusive’ . It seems that the rumor we had last time is coming true. Could this be Rome: Total War 2?
SEGA will also have Virtua Fighter 5 playable, much like this year’s E3. But this time you will be able to try out the online mode. Also a worthy note, Golden Axe doesn’t appear anywhere in the line-up.
The rest of the line up is as follows:
Sonic Rush Adventure soundtrack reveals level list
Posted by Hudson. Filed under News, Nintendo DS. Tagged with Sonic Rush.

Our good friends over at Sega Direct (we see them twice a month! they were over for dinner just last Thursday!) have released the official soundtrack track list for Sonic Rush Adventure, and in doing so have revealed the titles of every level and gameplay sequence in the game.
What’s more, they’ve done it in English for some reason, which means we don’t have to translate it out of squiggly and decipher stuff from the likes of “Weendumirru Beerage” into Windmill Village. It’s more annoying than you think!
The list, then:
Sonic Rush Adventure scans in inscrutable Japanese
Posted by Nathan. Filed under Nathan, News, Nintendo DS. Tagged with Sonic Rush.

Some Japanese scans about Sonic Rush Adventure have recently surfaced on the unpredictable sea known as the Internet. As usual, they are in glorious Nipponese and therefore undecipherable to most of the general readership here at Sega Nerds. But that won’t stop us from posting them anyway!
Of mild interest is the name of that raccoon thing that we know nothing else about so far. Her name is Marin. Yeah, like Marin from Zelda Link’s Awakening.

Sega has ‘diverse lineup,’ reveals release dates … kinda
Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris. Tagged with Bleach, Condemned, E3, Ghost Squad, Golden Compass, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Sega Rally Revo, Sonic Rush, Space Siege, The Club, Universe at War, Virtua Fighter 5.

After reading what Simon Jeffrey had to say, it doesn’t seem like Sega has any last-minute surprises up its sleeve for E3 2007, but it seems really excited nonetheless.
With 13 games showcased for a variety of platforms, Sega’s billing this year’s showing as its most diverse multi-platform lineup ever.
“Sega’s mission is to publish fun and entertaining games for people wherever and whenever they want to play,†said Simon Jeffery, President and COO, Sega of America. “For some titles like The Golden Compass we’ll provide a compelling and similar game experience across all the major systems, and for other games like Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games or NiGHTS we create specific gameplay unique to the capabilities of a platform like the Wii or DS. And with Universe at War we are leading the pack as the first third-party publisher to announce a game that takes advantage of cross platform play between an Xbox 360 and Windows. We are proud to show the world all of these games and more this week at E3.”
Along with the press release, Sega added in seasonal release dates for most of its upcoming lineup and all the games present at E3. Hit the jump for the full release and more information about the games and release dates.

Fresh from Gamespot UK comes a video of Sonic Adventure Rush’s gameplay. And lo, it’s, uh, another Sonic Rush game. Notable changes present in this video, from the previous Sonic Rush, include, less detailed backgrounds, and Sonic’s complete and total inability to shut the hell up. Enjoy!

Sonic Rush Adventure dated, box art revealed
Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris, Nintendo DS. Tagged with Sonic Rush.
In many gamer’s minds, the resurrection of Sonic, after years of disappointing sequels and spinoffs, began with Sonic Rush on the DS. And now that Sega has announced its sequel, Sonic Rush Adventure, there’s even more expectations for improvement.
For those Sega Nerds, like me, who are excited for Sega’s next Sonic offering, you’ll be excited to know EB Games has updated its site with the first-known boxart for Adventure and has a Sept. 18 release date attached with an expected $30 price tag. While it’s more than likely the official boxart, videogame retail sites are hardly the model for accurate release dates, so you may take that date with a grain of salt.
However, if you’re a conspiracy theorist like our associate editor Nathan, you’ll probably be able to come up with some interesting conclusions and tales of mystery like he’s done before.
Additionally, the retail giant has NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams slated to ship Nov. 13.

Cue the fanfares, strike up the drum-roll, for today it is Sonic the Hedgehog’s sweet 16th birthday. What will the adolescent receive for his birthday this year? Well I don’t know, that would be up to his parents, (creators) Yuji Naka and Naoto Oshima, to decide- let’s hope he gets that pony he has always wanted!
If you want to help celebrate Sonic’s 16th birthday, don’t forget to check out the action on Phantasy Star Universe, where you can receive your free Sonic statue to help commemorate this grand day.
We here, at Sega Nerds, are hoping to give you a whole weeks worth of Sonic content. Giving you articles focusing on all aspects of Sonics life over the last 16 years, and a glimpse of his future work. But first we shall have a brief overview, to help remind us all of what Sonic has achieved so far. I can tell you, at 16, I hadn’t done half of what this character had.
Sega Deals: Buy a DS Lite, get Sonic Rush free
Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris, Nintendo DS. Tagged with Sega Deals, Sonic Rush.
For those who are still DS-less (myself included), here’s a perfect opportunity for you to join the legions of people around the world who have sold their souls to Nintendo to enjoy dual-screen fun.
Circuit City is now offering a free copy of Sonic Rush or Sims 2 (why?) free when you buy a Nintendo DS Lite for $130.
To sweeten the deal, CC has also thrown in free shipping. I gotta say, that’s not too bad a deal, even though Sonic Rush is now available at the $20 budget price.
You better hurry up, because Sonic Rush Adventure is already coming this way!
