Hello my fellow Sega Nerds, Chris here, the editor of this fine site. I haven’t posted very much over the past few months, but that doesn’t mean that the team and I haven’t been hard at work behind the scenes, striving to make the site a better place for all of you.
Today, I’d like to introduce something we’ve been talking about internally for about half a year. We’ve never been very happy with the way the majority of gaming sites and publications review games - more specifically, how they score the games they review.
Fellow Sega Nerd Nathan was kind enough to provide the following reasons why we’re going in a new direction.

Dear fellow Sega Nerds,
As you know, we’re constantly working to try to make our site and community better, and I have a few announcements today that we hope will certainly do that.
We are pleased to announce a partnership between us and the b5media blog network. b5 is one of the fastest growing blog networks around, and they have more than 300 unique blogs under their banner. Sega Nerds will soon join their Video Game Channel, which is made up of some great sites like Siliconera and Ironic Gamer.
