CrushCritically acclaimed, criminally underlooked and completely fun to play. That’s Zoe Mode’s Crush for PSP in one sentence.

In case you missed it the first time around, now’s your chance to purchase one of the most innovative handheld titles this generation for a price so low it’s practically stealing from a blind, deaf and paralyzed person. And then beating him afterwards.

All you Sega nerds and PSP fanboys out there better make sure to buy Crush at Amazon for $15. Hey, it’s almost as cheap as a gallon of gas, and it’ll entertain you for even longer.

In case you don’t want to take my word for it, here’s the Sega Nerds review as well as all our previous coverage. And don’t forget that Crush won a Develop Award for “New Handheld IP” last year.

Despite having a few flaws, The Club is one of Sega’s most interesting and fun titles that it has been attached to this generation. And if you didn’t get a chance to pick it up at launch, Amazon has got your back as it just cut the price for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions for only about $39.

If you’re still on the fence and don’t know if this game is good enough for your hard-earned cash, just check out Graham’s review, which should help make your decision easier. Trust me, though, you need to play this game!

Sega Deals: Sega Superstars Tennis $20 at Gamestop

It’s not everyday a relatively newly released game sees such a dramatic price drop, but that’s exactly what’s happened to Sega Superstars Tennis. Gamestop is currently offering all console versions for $20 and the DS version for only $15 through May 1.

Other sites are saying poor sales have forced Gamestop into this price drop to clear inventory, but other retailers have yet to match Gamestop’s drastic move. Amazon currently has the game for $50 for next-generation consoles, and $40 and $22 for the PS2 and DS versions, respectively.

According to VG Chartz, the game has mustered about 51o,000 combined sales, which, if accurate, is a fair amount but certainly well below Sega’s estimated sales forecast.

Sega Deals: Alien Syndrome PSP $10 at EBgames.com

If you’ve recently played Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer and have been yanking your hair out in frustration, you might think about trying a much easier, albeit equally bad game instead. EBGames is currently selling Alien Syndrome for the PSP for only $10.

I actually had the displeasure in reviewing the title, and I can honestly say it’s not very good. However, for only $10, it might interest a few Sega Nerds out there who just don’t have a lot to play right now.

Sega Deals: NiGHTS: JoD, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity price drops

With all the great games Sega’s been throwing at us this month, we don’t know if anyone has enough cash left in their wallets to afford much else, but there are a couple deals to be had if you can spare a bit more change.

Gamestop is currently offering NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams for $30 brand new. Add the coupon code FREESHIPALL, and you get free shipping on top of the $10 price cut.

If you already own NiGHTS: JoD, Amazon is selling Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity on both the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 for $30 and $25, respectively.

This is probably the cheapest we’ll see either of these titles for the foreseeable future, so if they’re of interest to you, you should hop on them now.

Sega Deals: Full Auto (Xbox 360) $3.75 at Frys

full-auto.jpg

If you still have yet to play either of the Full Auto games (*slowly raises hand), and are way too cheap to buy the higher-priced sequel, this is probably the cheapest way you’ll ever find the original through legal means. Right now Frys has clearanced the title for only $3.75. Gamers are reporting it’s marked at $14.99, but will ring up at the low clearance price.

Graham remains adamant to this very day that Full Auto is one of the very best racing games he’s ever played. What that means to us is that it’s probably crap, but for this crazy price, it makes even a mediocre game really attractive.

Sega Deals: Sonic the Hedgehog (PS3) for $19

6:53pm 22 Jan '08

Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris, Sonic. Tagged with .

sonicdeal.jpgWe know by now how much crap Sega’s received by its next-gen iteration of Sonic the Hedgehog. However, if you haven’t experienced this “thrilling” experience, you can do so now for cheaper than ever. That’s because Amazon is currently selling the PS3 version for only $19 with free shipping.

Despite the overwhelming bad reviews and press this game’s received, there is some fun to be had in the game’s traditional 3D levels when they feature Sonic. Sure, there’s a lot of blemishes, but if you’re a true Sega Nerd, you’ll have this in your library.

Sega Deals: Ghost Squad for $20

5:55am 20 Dec '07

ghost-squad.jpgThere’s only a few short days before Christmas, and what better gift to give a loved one than a Sega game, right? Well, if that’s the case, may we suggest Ghost Squad at Amazon for the low price of $20?

Ghost Squad happens to be one of the only lightgun shooters currently available on the Wii, and it’s actually pretty damn good, too. And for only $20, it really is a no-brainer.

Sega Deals: Alien Syndrome (Wii) $29 at Buy.com

1:40am 7 Jun '07

Posted by Chris. Filed under Chris, News, Nintendo Wii. Tagged with , .

070707ali.jpgWhether it ships with less than stellar graphics or not, $30 for Alien Syndrome on the Wii is a deal few Sega Nerds can afford to pass up. Right now, Buy.com is offering Sega’s remake for only $29 shipped with a July 31 release date.

There’s a good chance this is a price mistake as Gamestop has it listed for the normal new release price of $50. Heck, Buy.com has the PSP version still priced at $39 with an Aug. 1 release date.

And to get Alien Syndrome for $19, be sure to use Google Checkout offer with details listed on the page. You can purchase the game here.
