Sega Nerds meet Niles Nemo

Before grandparents played video games, Sega used to be on the edge of cool. So cool that they had to immortalize it on their magazine ‘Sega Vision‘. Introduced on the back of the first issue his described as:
Very cool dude and major Sega video gamer. Niles Nemo takes his fun seriously.
I would assume he was a serious person with his awesome hair cut, yellow Sega Genesis sun glasses, and that pink version of Ryo’s jacket.

Sega: The Astronaut

Yeah, you read that right. Sega’s an astronaut.
Undersecretary of the Air Force Ronald M. Sega, that is. He was an astronaut in the 1990s, making his first shuttle flight in 1994 aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. Sega graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in 1974.
Sega spoke about his experience as an astronaut earlier today at the Colorado State University campus. More details can be found at The Coloradoan.
Off Topic Friday!: The Wii Laptop

The good great people at Engadget have turned to the console-to-portable genious Ben Heckendorn to turn their already beautiful Nintendo Wii into something quite gorgeous- a (if you haven’t already guessed) Wii Laptop.
This lovely invention was first brought to my attention HERE in our very own forum (Yeah, we do have a forum!) The laptop features all the connections the standard Wii bears- All the GameCube connections (controllers, memory cards, etc …), connection for Wii sensor bar and an AV port for the Wii’s cable to connect to a TV or monitor.
