Gamestop offers Sonic Chronicles pre-order bonus

Sega and Gamestop have been teaming up to offer us quite a bit of pre-order bonuses for awhile now, and they’re at it again. For those who pre-order Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood online or in-store, you’ll get a stylus three-pack featuring Sonic, Knuckles and Shade when the game is released.
It’s not like any of us Sega Nerds really needed a reason to pre-order the game; I think it’s fair to say we’re all pretty excited about Sega and Bioware teaming up for a Sonic RPG. But for those of you who love to collect this kind of stuff, we’re sure you’re salivating as you’re reading this news.
According to Sonic Chronicles’ Gamestop page, there’s a limited supply of the stylus packs, so get ‘em while they’re available! Gamestop lists the DS title to ship Sept. 30.

Gamestop slashes prices on tons of next-gen Sega games

Wow, this is truly THE Sega sale to end all Sega sales. I’ve been waiting for the official list to drop for Gamestop’s Game Days Sale that will run beginning June 2 to the end of the month, and now it finally has.
All I can say is you won’t be disappointed as just about every Sega title released this generation and some of last have been drastically reduced in price, making them easily affordable for even the most poor Sega Nerds out there. If you haven’t managed to keep up with Sega’s fast pace, this is definitely a great opportunity to pick up some really great games for unbelievable prices.

Get exclusive Red Hulk by buying game from Gamestop

Sega just shot me an email detailing a new promotion it has with game retail giant Gamestop - if you buy the Xbox 360 version of The Incredible Hulk from the store, you’ll get immediate access to Hellboy Red Hulk.
What makes this extra important? Apparently, Sega’s not including the Red Hulk in any other version of the game or in any Xbox 360 game sold outside of Gamestop. So literally the only way to access the red-tinted Hulk is to give your money to Gamestop.
For awhile now, Sega.com and Gamestop have had a marketing agreement where Sega tells its readers to buy or pre-order games exclusively at Gamestop. However, this is the first time I can recall where you get additional content, although it’s just a recolored Hulk in this case. We’re not sure what to think of this practice of basically forcing those players who want everything they can get from their $60 purchase to go to a retailer they may not have chosen in the first place.
