The people at IGN got some new juicy information on the upcoming Virtual Tennis game. The game will introduce eight new comers and three legends, I don’t know if that means that the three legends are part of the new comers? The game is also set to have 40 courts to choose from, some being exotic locations like Dubai, in case you wanted to be romantic while you ignore your girlfriend and play the game.
Virtua Tennis 2009 is going to feature new camera modes, one being the more dramatic over-the-shoulder perspective. For Virtua Tennis purist, the old camera modes are still there, don’t panic. They have also changed the gameplay a bit, now it matters how you position your player, though I thought it always has, hasn’t it? If you fail to position your player in the stance or place he won’t be able to “theatrically dive”, you will instead stumble, looking like a fool.
