MADWORLD is cleared by the BBFC with “no problems”

Great news for all British Sega Nerds, according to Edge, the British Board of Film Classification has given the ’all clear’ for Sega and Platinum Games’ MADWORLD to be released. (Though for some reason Edge has said “Capcom’s upcoming MadWorld” silly billys).
“From our testing of the product, there was clearly no reason for us to intervene at the adult level,” a spokesperson for the BBFC told Edge. “We clearly had no problems with MadWorld. If we had, we wouldn’t have classified it; it’s as simple as that.”
This might upset some British tabloids, such as the Daily Mail, and other outspoken sources who, last year, called the Wii exclusive title; “the most violent videogame ever.”
Thankfully it looks like the BBFC doesn’t get swayed by the mad hysteria that the press stirs up (or should I say the bulls*&t they stir up?) and MADWORLD is on course for release in both America and Europe this March… except for Germany where it was refused classification.
