Sega Europe has posted an important update on its blog about some complications with the European entries to the Sonic and the Black Knight art competition.
Anyone from Europe/Australia who has submitted their art into the contest, or would like to do so, should read this!

Just a quick news update. The Sonic and the Black Knight art contest which we reported on the other day is now open to UK and Australian residents. Other European countries will have to wait, and no news whether the contest will hit Japan and other Asian countries.
Crazy Sega Nerds: One hell of a Sonic tattoo!

Cmdr Zorg (that’s a person) over at UK: Resistance has posted up this fantastic/scary Sonic tattoo, that was sent to the site.
I’m not sure what to think of the sanity of this guy. I can understand some people walking around with a little Mario or Sonic image on their arm or back, but you have got to have some balls to walk around with your entire arm covered with a computer game-themed tattoo.
While it is a bit crazy, I have to admit, I think that is an excellent tattoo. The artwork is actually really good, especially compared to a lot of game-related inks. Though I think I would rather have it made into a poster, to stick on my wall… you know… out of the eye of the general public.
I’m not sure whether to salute this guy (for his guts), or start crying for my mummy.

If Sonic the Hedgehog was real

I know hedgehogs aren’t blue, but I guess some talented artist decided to remind us again. What I don’t understand is why he is so freakishly strong? Sonic was always either lean or a bit chubby, never Hulk’s son. I’m no Sonic expert, but it looks like they also got his shoes all wrong.
So if Sonic was real he’d look like a crack addict that happens to be a body builder?
