Above is the fourth dev diary, this one has some new gameplay footage and shows you how character relationships work. Sounds groovy. Below is the official box art for Alpha Protocol.
The game ships in American retailers on October 6th. You will be able to pick your poison on either Xbox 360, Playstation 3 or a Windows powered PC.

Infinite Space animated video promises Spring 2010 release
Posted by George. Filed under George, News, Nintendo DS, North America, Video. Tagged with Anime, Infinite Space, Promotion, Release Date, Shorts.
We already know that Infinite Space launched in Japan, but what about the rest of the world? Sega of America has been kind enough to translate (and release) one of the short anime web episodes (or webisodes if you are hip), they even have English voices!
OK, so maybe the voice acting isn’t great, but it is better than not understanding what is going on. Sega teases us by telling us this is just part one of four videos to be released, so get ready. In the end of the video they promise a Spring 2010 release date.
Seems that everything on DS gets an anime, what about us console folks?

New Resonance of Fate trailer
Posted by George. Filed under George, Japan, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with End of Eternity, New, Resonance of Fate, Trailer, Tri-Ace.
Here it is, a new trailer for the upcoming RPG, Resonance of Fate. I think alot of turn based loyalist are going to be turned off by the more action packed approach of this title, but I have to say, its looking rather nice.
Now that we have seen more gameplay, can we get excited or should we complain that it isn’t made by Sonic Team?

Innex bringing updated Sega Nomad-style handheld
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, News, Retro, Video. Tagged with E3, Fan Stuff, Fire Box, Genesis, Innex Inc, Mega Drive, Nomad, Portable.

Hardware distributor Innex Inc. is set to release an updated version of the Sega Nomad with the “Retro Gen.” It doesn’t use the Nomad name and it doesn’t look the same, but it is officially licensed by Sega and unlike other portable Mega Drives this one will take original Mega Drive titles.
But best of all Innex is promising a special download service, also officially licensed by Sega, that will allow gamers to download classic Mega Drive/Genesis titles but also brand new licensed Mega Drive games - with their “Fire Box” technology. Now that does sound awesome.
More information, including video after the break.

So sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
The Conduit is out in Europe July 10th and is out in the US now.

New Valkyria Chronicles DLC trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Japan, News, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with DLC, Download Content, Downloads, Edy's Challenge, Gameplay, PSN, Trailer, Valkyria Chronicles.
Sega has recently released a trailer of the latest download content for Valkyria Chronicles. As the DLC is currently only scheduled for a Japan release the trailer is (unfortunately) all in Japanese - so I have no idea what’s going on. But the lady in the advert sounds very excited and that makes me excited, so I hope you all are too!
What we do know is that this update will consist of six challenges made to the player by Edy’s squad. The challenges will vary, from saving stranded allies to wiping out invading foes. The DLC is due for release on the Japanese PSN June 26th for 300Yen.

18 fantastic minutes of Aliens vs Predator

The lucky guys and girls over at GamePlanet were able to get a guided demonstration of Rebellion’s Aliens vs Predator at E3 last week and the game looks amazing. The version of AvP shown at E3 is pre-Alpha, meaning there is still a lot of work left to be done on the game, and already it is looking better than a hell of a lot of games this generation.
The demonstrator guides us through what it is like to play as the Predator in the game, showing off several moves, gameplay mechanics and different ways to tackle situations. Not only does the game visually look great already, but the gameplay looks brilliant too. I especially like the Predator’s jumping system - looks like there won’t be any frustrating platforming moments.
You really shouldn’t judge a title until you’ve played it but I am already in love with the game. It looks like a lot passion has gone into making AvP so far and I cannot wait to see more of it.
Just seeing the Predator rip out the human’s head gives me goose pimples. Oooh!

That Bayonetta model in action at E3

~Couldn’t get the sodding video to stop auto-playing, so click on the above image to view the real Bayonetta in motion~
Still can’t get enough of the real life Bayonetta? Well neither can we - or various other sites it seems, including USA Today.
USA Today has managed to score… (tempted to end the sentence right there, but I won’t). USA Today has managed to score an interview with Penny Drake, the lovely model who has been portraying Bayonetta at this years E3 show.
Turns out that she’s not actually English, but can, apparently, put on an English accent. I say “apparently” because she sounds more Australian at the end of the video. But what the hell, she still looks fantastic and very sexy. Hmm I wonder if she’s available for birthday parties…
And if you want to see of the hopefuls who auditioned for this part, then check out this video here.

Sonic Unleashed mobile gameplay

We showed you some of the new screens for the upcoming mobile phone version of Sonic Unleashed and some of you said you wanted to see the game in motion and we have delivered.
Well actually we haven’t, IGN are the lucky sods who managed to get gameplay footage of the game and someone else uploaded the video to Youtube. But like a $5 hooker, we’re here to spread it around ;o)
Sonic looks a bit weird to me, but other than that it actually looks like it could be a half decent game! So what do you guys think of the game?
Planet 51 E3 trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under G, Microsoft Xbox 360, Multi-platform, News, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3, Video. Tagged with Astronaut, CGI, Gameplay, Movie Tie-In, Planet 51, Trailer.
Remember that announcement a while ago about Planet 51? Well now we actually get to see what the deal with the game is. We already knew that the game was to be based on the upcoming CGI movie of the same name, which should sound alarm bells in most people - yet another movie tie-in game (in general - not just from Sega).
But will this actually be a decent conversion from the big screen? To be honest it is too hard to tell right now, but the trailer does give me some high hopes. It certainly doesn’t look terrible and it will be aimed at kids, like the movie is, so I’m not expecting anything too complex.
In case you don’t know. You take control of the “bumbling” human astronaut, Chuck, and his alien friend Lem and have to help them find their way back to Chuck’s spaceship, while exploring the world of Planet 51. The game is due out on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS this November.
