E3 2008: Bayonetta

The guys at Platinum Games are still keeping quiet about the finer details to Bayonetta.  So far we have only seen a quick video, and a few FMV screens.  At E3 Sega released a few more screens, but not in-game ones by the looks of it.
What we have is a small set of concept art […]

E3 2008: Alpha Protocol

While the information given out at E3 didn’t really give much in the way of (if any) new details, it’s still great to see Sega show off the game, with these screenshots.
Frankly I’m dead excited for this game.  I have always loved the whole concept of espionage and spying games - which is why I […]

E3 2008: Stormrise new screens and artwork

There doesn’t seem to be any new information, since the game’s impressive announcement video last week.
But Sega has kindly graced us with some new screenshots and a couple of artwork images.  Which is nice.
Check it all out after the break.

Were-Sonic gameplay revealed

Key-carrying action!

A video (presumably from E3 has surfaced on Youtube detailing a few of the other speed style levels from Sonic Unleashed as well as finally revealing some footage of the much hushed-up Were Sonic segments.
They look like standard brawler fare, but don’t take my word for it! Check it out for yourselves!

Sega announces new RTS: Stormrise

If the Total War franchise isn’t enough to fulfill your Real Time Strategy needs, then the guys at The Creative Assembly aren’t done with you yet, as Sega announces Stormrise.
Interestingly though, this is one RTS which won’t be available for PC gamers, at first.  Stormrise is being specifically developed for both the Xbox 360 and […]

Sega racing for the podium in the UK

Yeah ok, that title is a crap way of implying that Sega is currently standing in the UK charts with two sports titles.  Olympic titles to be precise.
Beijing Olympics 2008 see’s itself climb four positions this week, hitting fifth place.  And Mario & Sonic Olympics is still hanging in the charts, at number eight.
It would […]

Review: Beijing Olympics 2008

In my lifetime I have only ever played one Olympics game which I have really enjoyed, and that was (surprisingly) last year’s Mario & Sonic at the Olympics.
On the whole I can play them, and find some enjoyment - but when it all comes down to it, tapping two buttons constantly to make a guy […]

Ryu ga Gotoku 3 heading to Japan spring 2009

Ryu ga Gotoku (Yakuza in the west) Kenzan was not the third game, it was a spin-off. It seems that Nagoshi isn’t going to rest after just launching Kenzan this year. He is already working on the follow up to Ryu ga Gotoku 2, even though we are barely getting it over here this […]

Sega plans Valkyria Chronicles add-on content

Sega has announced that starting in August they’ll be offering downloads for Valkyria Chronicles via the Japanese Playstation Network.
Senjou No Valkyria, as the title is known in the east, will be bolstered by a total of three updates - the first being simply a download that will allow for the implementation of further downloads.
Immediately following […]

Rumour: Sega sign a deal with ATI to use DirectX 10.1 in upcoming game?

I’m filing this down as a rumour, because I really can’t find much information about this anywhere, but I thought it might interest some of the more technical minded bodies here.
On the Rage3D boards (unofficial ATI community boards) one member, Dave Baumann, (who I believe works for ATI), posted this little slip of information:
“Something that […]
