After having watched the trailer for Sega’s upcoming apocalyptic RTS Stormrise, all I can say is that I’m ready to enlist.
Growing up on a steady diet of RTSs had desensitized me a bit to all the fun that they could really bring. Stormrise brings to mind memories of the PS2 first-person shooter Killzone, along with a decaying urban feel to the environments.
What’s so special about this game?

With the impending release of Golden Axe: Beast Rider, four new screens have been released for your viewing pleasure, or displeasure, as it seems this game doesn’t look quite up to par with the graphics I’ve come to expect on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Of course, as we all know, graphics don’t determine the quality of the game.
I’m quite intrigued as to how the title will play out, but honestly, it looks more like a bargain PS2 title for me. I’m hoping that upon actually getting it in my hands to test out, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Announcement: We have a new staff member… it’s a girl!

I’d like everyone to welcome the first our new staff members, (we are getting more than one), Brittany. Yes, she is a girl (or so she tells me), so that’s something pretty exciting - our very first female member of staff!
But, even though she may be different to what some of us (especially me) are used to, I’m sure you will all welcome her into our community with open arms, and make her feel at home.Â
That of course means making fun of her gaming taste, saying “But girls can’t play games!” and barraging her with gay jokes, (or are those just reserved for me?).
So say a big “Hello” to Brittany, or if you frequent the forums, she goes by the name “killtacular” there.
So let’s be civil people, there’s a lady in the room now ;o)
