Persona 5 has shipped 2 million copies worldwide
Persona 5 has been out since last year, and the popularity of the ATLUS franchise is clearly at an all time high. According to ATLUS’ latest press release, Persona 5 has topped 2 million copies around the globe. That’s huge!

We are in the middle of experiencing tremendous growth, both in the west and abroad, and the sales of Persona 5 represent a new level of expectation for fans of the genre. Once seen as niche, Persona 5 is one of the most important titles this year, proving interest in this category is expanding. In addition to the sales numbers, Persona 5 has been nominated for a number of awards, including “Game of the Year,” “Best Art Direction,” “Best Score / Music,” and “Best Role-Playing Game” at the 2017 Game Awards.
