Live Sonic concert to kick off San Diego Comic Con

If you’re looking to bang your heads to classic Sonic hits while you’re at San Diego Comic Con, now’s your chance. Sonic’s official Twitter account has announced that a live concert dubbed “Sounds of Sonic” will be held the first day of the convention, July 20th, at Hilton Bayfront Hotel.

Musical guests include producer, composer and guitarist Shota Nakama and veteran sound director and guitarist of Crush 40, Jun Senoue, as they’ll play special arrangements of your favorite Sonic songs old and new–or shall I say, Classic and Modern.

If you’re strapped for cash on this shindig as well as Comic Con in general, it’ll probably be live-streamed. Either way, stay tuned!
