Sonic Mania confirmed for Nintendo Switch

Sonic Mania was rumored last week to be coming to the Nintendo Switch, and it looks like we finally have the confirmation we’ve been looking for.

Hot off the heels of the Nintendo Switch Presentation, Nintendo rolled out its website that lists all the games in development for its newest console, and the Sonic Mania logo is sitting proudly next to FIFA.

We still don’t know exactly when the game will release, but rumors suggest it will be a launch title.

Also listed on the page is Puyo Puyo Tetris S, although it will be a Japanese exclusive. However, since the Switch is region free, those of us outside Japan will be able to purchase and play the game on our Switches without issue.

Obviously, this is great news for Sonic fans who want to take Mania on the go. There’s no word if SEGA will offer the limited edition bundle that they did with the other Sonic Mania versions earlier last year.
