Chain Chronicle heading to the West on mobile devices

SEGA Networks’ free-to-play RPG Chain Chronicle will release in the U.S. on Dec. 8, and according to Chain Chronicle’s Twitter account, the game is now available in the UK and Canada for iOS and Android devices.

Chain Chronicle has been downloaded more than 4 million times since it released in Japan in July 2013.

As a captain of the “Volunteer Army,” it’s up to you to protect your kingdom from the invading Black Army that is threatening to destroy the world of Yggdra, according to the game’s official site.

More info:

  • Within the 3×3 grid, position your troops for the oncoming Black Army assault!
  • Destroy waves upon waves of enemies with the right party setup and the right special moves. Pick the right classes for the job!
  • The better you perform, the better the spoils of war. From gold to even new party members to aid your cause, unravel the vast treasures Yggdra has to offer!
  • Use arcana coins and prysma to recruit new allies into the fray. Strength in numbers matters in defending your keep, whether they be human or something else!
